🧐 Why do my symptoms keep coming back?

Hi Reader,

Have you ever taken Tums for heartburn?

Thank goodness you find one in your pocket, just as you start feeling the heartburn kick in. You pop it in your mouth and voila...relief!

But then, 3 days later, it happens again..."where are my Tums?" you say panicked, while rummaging through your purse, your bedside table drawer, the bathroom cabinet and the car!

Tums are like a bandaid, they cover the issue in the moment.

But here's the problem...they don't FIX the issue.

WHY are you getting heartburn in the first place?

Is it due to stress?

Is it from spicy food?

Is it because you have h. pylori?

Is your body struggling to break down food (ie. gut bacteria may be out of balance)?

Is your stomach acid level out of whack?

If your symptoms keep coming back it is because you have not addressed the REASON why it was there in the first place.

These are some of the most common symptoms my clients come to me with:

  • Fatigue
  • Low libido
  • Stubborn weight
  • Diarrhea/constipation
  • Headaches
  • Waking at 2-3AM
  • No motivation to exercise
  • Heavy periods
  • Inflammation
  • Hives, rashes, eczema
  • Joint pain
  • Anxiety
  • Bloating/gas
  • Brain fog
  • Leaky gut

There are reasons why your body is showing you these symptoms, and there are ways that we can address them so that they GO AWAY!

These symptoms are super common in today's world, but they don't have to be permanent in your life.

I love being a health detective and being able to give my clients the data behind the WHY of the issues they are having.

Are you ready to see YOUR symptoms in the rear view mirror?

If so, reach out and we can talk about the next steps.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Reader, Prevention first...it is a very overlooked and yet super powerful concept. One of the things that comes up so often in conversations with my clients, is that our society as a whole does not typically promote prevention and creating healthy lifestyle habits. We are taught to value “busyness,” as if it’s a badge of honor to be burnt out, and you're "lazy" if you aren't busy enough. We are given promises of solutions in the form of pills to manage almost every chronic disease under...

Hi Reader, Happy Spring! It's still cold here in the Northeast, but the daffodils are blooming so spring MUST be coming! Do you ever have pesky symptoms that bother you? That's really a trick question because everyone does as one time or another. Well, I've always been one to want to dig in to find out why, and that's looking for what they call "the root cause". Most quick fixes (ie. OTC medications) provide a bandaid, but it's really important to know WHY whatever it is that's happening, is...

Hi Reader, We are more than halfway through January and I still feel like I'm slowly easing into the year. Anyone else feeling that too? The days are cold and gloomy here in the Northeast, and all I want to think about is being warm and cozy! What is the ultimate act of self-love? It's self-care. Why Self-Care? Because You're Worth It! ✨ In the hustle and bustle of life, it's easy to forget the most important person in the room—you! We go day in and day out taking care of our family, our...
